johncourage You haven't read her 2009 book, "The Trump Card,{

Here's a little passage that'll let you in on how in-tune she is with the common American who doesn't have a staff of cooks, house help, and nannies at the ready...

The opening sentence...

"In business, as in life, nothing is ever handed to you." Then, Ivanka quickly adds... "Yes, I’ve had the great good fortune to be born into a life of wealth and privilege, with a name to match. Yes, I’ve had every opportunity, every advantage. And yes, I've chosen to build my career on a foundation built by my father and grandfather."

Later, she writes that she and her brothers didn't get their jobs in their father's company "by any kind of birthright or foregone conclusion."

mrteatime How much money and resources were wasted on his bullshit claims? Several million? This guy certainly knows how to burn through money.

trimble Bullshit and you know it.

One of Trump's big campaign promises was, "I'm gonna make Mexico pay for that wall and it'll make America great again!"

Cut to today: "I want $1.5 billion in the current fiscal year of 2017 to start developing the design and locations for the the wall.

Then, in 2018, I want another $2.6 billion to continue the job. Oh, and I'm going to need more money later for Border Patrol and immigration-enforcement agents."

Trump supporters got snowed, and some of them are waking up from their "Make America Great Again" hangover. Everyone else who knew Mexico wasn't going to pay saw this coming a mile away.

His cuts are to offset his Florida weekends, his wife's Trump Tower security, and the California-Mexico wall.

Those things add up.

normalfreak2 We aren't in war time.

Oh, I'm sure that'll change within the year.

I guarantee you, ever hip-hop singer will have a large-sized one of these on their stage by summer. I predicted it with the hoover board craze of 2014.

5cats I had already written my piece, but thought I'd give you credit for the thread. Fuck me, right?

And if you thought that was anti-Trump, you haven't been paying attention.
