Could someone please give a nutshell summary of at least one concept that this video purports to explain? Because I've tried watching this thing three times now and I am absolutely clueless. O.O

All I get is that some green and blue blobs illustrate the likelihood of a particle (what particle, exactly?) being in a certain location. And I'm pretty sure the video isn't spending 15 minutes explaining that.

My hair hurts!   But, it makes me want to learn more.

The quantum physics wave is basically a 3-dimensial representation of a bell curve of the likelyhood of the particle being at that point on the line.

I've studied string theory a little, it's interesting. And anyone who has not read "Flatland", I would suggest it.

"explained in a way that we can all understand".

If by all you mean "people with enough science background/interest to watch a video named 'Visualization of Quantum Physics'" then yes. :)

Information overload. Now I've forgotten what my name is, and where I live.

So... is the cat alive or dead? I thought for sure the video would answer that!

Although I imagine by now, that cat has been in that box for so long it's assuredly dead by now.

PosisDas Can't know. If you don't look, you can't say for certain if he is alive or not. If you open it, you may have killed him by the action of looking! ;-)
