I Bet You Didn't Know That The EPA Sponsored Human Experiments With Lethal Substances

Submitted by: 5cats 2 weeks ago News & Politics

While telling us for decades now that 'small particle air pollution' is the greatest health threat ever (this started before AGW obviously) the EPA sponsored human experiments. Unwitting people were exposed to these particles in tests, including children and the elderly.

When caught in 2010, it took until 2016 for the EPA to conduct an 'investigation. One which primarily looked only at the defense, not the accusations. 13 of the 19 'council members' belonged to companies or organizations which received millions in EPA grants. A complete whitewash utterly ignored by the MSM when the report was released on March 28, 2017. But you can trust big brother governments with everything!

FAKE NEWS PEOPLE.

First of all, the source is americanthinker, which is a blog. Second of all, if you look at the actual source, you'll find this gem in the first paragraph.

"Case presentation: We present a case of a 58-year-old woman who volunteered to participate in a controlled exposure to concentrated ambient particles. Twenty minutes into the exposure, telemetry revealed new onset of atrial fibrillation. The exposure was discontinued, and she reverted to normal sinus rhythm approximately 2 hr later. No abnormality was evident on the volunteer’s laboratory examination or echocardiography that could explain an increased risk for supraventricular arrhythmia."

Knowing that the title and article is presented by 5cats was all I needed to dig deeper, and to be honest, I didn't have to really dig all that much before his click baity and lying title gets shred to pieces. Go away you stupid troll.

pleasestop You said you were going to ignore me, liar.

  1. This was not the only time the experiment was run, it is one report of many.
  2. The EPA has claimed that these are lethal substances, yet they expose it to humans in experiments?
  3. If you fail to understand the point? That doesn't make me 'a troll' ok?

K. We can all agree though, breathing that shit in probably isn't good for you. A lungful of smog isn't a good thing. Soo.... let's have less smog, yeah? Or, are we really that stupid?

Fake news. If you follow the links, they cite one (1) study involving one (1) person who volunteered for the study, knowing full well the nature of the study. You say "Unwitting people were exposed to these particles". You lied.

glowby Honestly, I didn't even scroll down to read the comments before I posted mine. It's good to see that people are sceptical of any of these bombastic assertions that a Government run program is out there purposely poisoning people. Especially a program like the EPA which is being gutted by Trump. It's really no surprise that idiots like 5cats exist out there to continue putting out fake news.

5cats You need a refresher course in what a "fact" is.  At best these are unsubstantiated allegations.  You are a fool.

normalfreak2 So the EPA did not sponsor experiments on humans using lethal toxins? Really? Because they've fully admitted doing it. Fucking troll...

This is propaganda designed to mislead and encourage the destruction of a government agency that is a thorn in the side of corporations who would like to pollute without any EPA regulations whatsoever.

What is this tempest in a teapot about? A 58-year-old woman volunteered to be exposed to particulate air pollution, of the type emitted by coal power plants, for twenty minutes. Once negative health impacts were observed and recorded, the exposure was stopped. Two hours later, she was fine. All of this is described in the abstract of the paper in question.

That is the entirety of these "human experiments with lethal substances."

I see zero evidence that such experiments were conducted on "children and the elderly" and zero evidence that the people who participated in the experiment were "unwitting." If you've got evidence to back up these sensational charges of yours, 5Cats, please show it.
