You Made Emma Watson Defend Her Free-Range Titties And Now She's Upset!

Submitted by: fancylad 3 weeks ago Entertainment

Who would have thought that that this routine Vanity Fair cover story would still be getting milage almost a week after it hit the internet? The only interesting thing about the interview, in my opinion, is that Emma Watson is not going to take photos or selfies with her fans anymore, and you can thank her stalkers and the internet for that.

But there were a lot of feminists with bees in their bonnet over the fact that Watson, as hardcore a feminist as she claims to be, posed semi-topless in a knitted blouse. It was nothing really -- as I used to say in grade school, "Did you see nip? Because if you didn't see nip, you didn't see titty."

But now you've done upset Watson and she's striking out at the prudes and pseudo-feminists during a press junket for Beauty and the Beast...

“Feminism is about giving women choice. Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with. It’s about freedom, it’s about liberation, it’s about equality. I really don’t know what my tits have to do with it. It’s very confusing."

Right now, there's a slimy Disney Marketing VP who's thanking his lucky stars over all of this.

I like Emma Watson as an actress.  She's a good actress, funny, entertaining and pleasing to look at. That's all I need to know about her. She also seems to be a genuinely nice person.

Don't care about her philosophy, her politics or what she names her pets.

I will only worry about if she is a good fit for her next role, and will enjoy it if she does a good job and will not enjoy it if she does not.

All politics can do is make more people not want to watch her movies.

Now, in this case, she is right to dress (or undress) in any format she chooses. I will critique her photos (sometimes more than once). But I will never critique her right to pose for them

Got get them Hermione.

I get what she's saying but the fact is for most feminists, feminism IS a stick with which to beat people.

What is it with Humans and their petty obsessions with what others are wearing?
Does this involve the destructive Human emotion called envy? Or is there something more. Please Explain

Female attire should basically just be high heels. Male, I don't give an 'eff.

thezigrat People want control, that's it. To control what other people are wearing, to control what other people say, to control other people's political beliefs, to control how other people raise their children, to control how other people drive, etc.

This explains our current political climate, both on the right and the left. We don't want a leader who represents everyone. We want a tyrant who shares our beliefs.

thezigrat people are by nature sad but give them the freedom of being anonymous douchebags who are never wrong and are always righteous sitting protected behind their screen and people are downright vile

thezigrat it's like as Douglas Adams would've said, take away their trivialities, and people might actually talk about things that are important. When you have nothing real to talk about, what people are wearing is as good as anything
