squrlz4ever  Offering, You know I am a solid carnivore. Can't digest plant matter, we bring it back up and serve it to unknowingly to others as salad. Think it actually improves the taste.

thezigrat Well, last time you offered me peanuts, they were all mucus-y from your tentacles. I mean, I appreciate the gesture and all, but....

Why would ANY Human be such a prawn as to try to stop another Human from celebrating a well deserved win? I do not understand this concept.

thezigrat it was probably a decree from higher up, a greedy ceo who wants to get people out asap since they have already paid their way, and lights cost them money.  The longer the lights are on the more it costs them so they probably decreed "track workers, you are paid nothing and you do my bidding you peons, so make sure this event gets over as soon as possible, or you are all fired!  Sports?! i don't care about sports, just money!".

It works out good for the CEO, when the spotlight falls on the worker who doesn't want to get fired, the CEO can point to them and say "oh that was so bad of you, you're fired!", and then receive praise from the world who is like "oh she's evil and horrible, it was so good the CEO fired them, praise the CEO!"

Good for her. The first thing that popped into my head was, 'just run it, you just proved you're the fastest person there, what are you they going to do? catch you?'.
