An Idaho Man's Pet Squirrel Goes Nuts On A Burglar, Helps Catch The Thief

Submitted by: nettech98 2 months ago News & Politics

"[A Meridian, Idaho cop] said while she was questioning the individual he had scratches on his hands so she asked him 'Did you get that from the squirrel' and he says 'Yeah, damn thing kept attacking me and wouldn't stop until I left." said Adam Pearl homeowner and master to Joey, his pet squirrel.

Now Joey is being hailed a hero.

"Nobody can believe it because who can say they have a squirrel that guards their house, which is crazy," said Pearl. "You can't ask for much more than that. He is a pain in the butt, but he is great."

Pearl said he thanked Joey by giving him his favorite treat, Whoppers.

I had a semi tame squirrel living under my house for several years. We would sit on the porch together and I trained him to bring me walnuts in exchange for several peanuts. The only problems I ever had was he would steal my bird seed and chew the rubber off my phone lines.

Horrible report, actually - it will make people think that having a squirrel as a pet is a good idea.  Squirrels are wild animals and should remain that way.

That's why I always feed the squirrels ....unsalted peanuts in the shell.  They're my little fury scatterbrained buddies.

This is so lame when the title border in a television report hides the main subject of the report !!  (8 first seconds).  Can't they make it a little thinner ?

Sometimes in a movie, there is foreign language, and subtitles are shown for us to understand, but at the same time, the TV channel willl show publicity borders at the bottom, which hides the subtitles.  Good job !! [sarcasm]

But anyway, good squirrel ! [not a sarcasm]
