Hi I-A-B! Look at a bunch of spiders, ok? Spider silk is amazing not because it's supposedly stronger than steel but what I find truly incredible is one little body can produce all the silk for a lifetime of webs. The whole biological process behind making silk is impressive, let alone silk strands. And all science understands behind the process is that the silk comes from high protein enzymes from within the spider which meets acidification as it exits the small body. The concept of what the spider needs to produce seemingly infinite strands of silk is still up for debate.
