Is This CNN Tweet About Trump Blatantly Racist?

Here's the tweet in question...

Yes it's from August, but pointing it out is still valid. Here CNN equates Black people with convicted criminals, in one breath. Apparently the talking CNN heads carry on a conversation with that as its basis, in order to accuse Trump of being racist.

That's correct: CNN practices racism in order to falsely accuse Trump of racism.

Personally? If a prisoner is slated to be released after the next election? I think they should be allowed to vote as part of their re-entering society. Lifers and others in for decades? Nope.

it is a well known fact that there are and have been a lot of black people incarcerated in america. it is not racist, it is a fact. is it racist that cops and judges single out and give harsher sentences to black people? probably, but thats not what were talking about. i do not think it was racist of cnn to state this because a lot of felons are in fact black. its not racist, its not a stereotype, its fact. its just a rather unfortunate fact that doesnt really help the negative stereotype of black people being criminals. because saying all black people are criminals is a racist stereotype, saying there are a lot of black felons in america is an unfortunate fact.

normalfreak2 I have to agree on your stance on felons not voting, once your sentence has been completed (probation etc. too) you should be aloud to vote. If you are currently serving or on parole you should not as a form of punishment. But once its done you should be allowed to fully reintegrate in to society, it may be a small thing but it will make you fell more a part of controlling you life. Being a convicted felon who has lead a normal life ever sense it galls me that after being convicted of a what's called a victimless crime (no property damage or taken and no other person involved) 20 years ago I cant participate in the shaping of our country and controlling my own destiny.

It's ridiculous that you can't participate in our Democratic process. It makes zero sense, your punishment in my opinion has never ended. I don't understand the reasoning behind keeping people who have served time and are now functioning members of society, from their Constitutional rights. I even believe ex-felos deserve to own a firearm. (assuming the crime wasn't rape, assault, etc)

It's to only allow people to participate who don't disagree with the status quo.

CNN equated felons as blacks. Yes, that is racist. But it is not 'deemed' racist by the elites because they are the ones making the comparrison. Now, take that exact tweet, but have Fox tweet it, and watch the precious buttercups and liberal elite explode.

NF2...you have every right to decide what is racist and what is not. Your color or "their" color has fuck all to do with it. Leave your white guilt where it belongs...in the toilet. As far as felons and the vote...I'm not sure where I stand with that...but am leaning towards yes, once time is served.

I don't find this racist. Then again I'm not an American of African decent. On the point of voting rights. If you paid your debt to society then your rights shouldn't be infringed. Your punishment should end after you pay your debt not continue until the end of your life. It's as simple as that. That is also SHOULD be the Conservative point of view.

You don't need the "proper skin colour" to know what is racist and what is not... So you agree with me here? That's nice. But that's also an 'aside' not the topic. Trump trying to ban convicts in prison from voting is RACIST they tell us, because there's so many NIGGERS in jail! But saying that is in itself racist, something that apparently eluded the geniuses at CNN... >>> Exactly like criticizing Obama, the ONLY reason people don't want convicted felons to vote is because FELONS ARE BLACK. Is that even remotely true (in either case)? Are all felons Negros? No. To say they are (as CNN does) is... racist.

Trump is a chauvinist. Sometimes it aligns with race, but it's more "his society" vs. "the rest". Skin color is an easy target, but it's just a tool for declaring people to be different, one of "them". Beware, for everybody is different.
