Trump Asking Russia To Find Illegal E-Mails Is Not Treason [Video+]

Submitted by: 5cats 8 months ago News & Politics

That's right! Bill Clinton signed a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty with Russia in 1999 calling for exactly what Trump asked for: co-operation in finding criminal wrong-doings. Trump never said "hack" and since Hillary's servers are no longer un-secured in her basement? But securely in the hands of the FBI? One wonders how that could even happen. Unless the illegal e-mails were already hacked while Hillary illegally had them of course, those copies could be "re-hacked"...

Here's the treaty's text.

Calm down, 5Cats. Perhaps you are unaware that I never called Drumpf's action 'treason.' Stupid, idiotic, even, as is everything else the moron says. Seditious, maybe. You're getting all worked up again. That's dangerous, for Canadians. Go play with your cats, take in some sun, and come back when you're feeling better, okay?

Damn, 5Cats, you are working HARD to make sure one day Herr Trump stops goose-stepping long enough to give you a pat on the head.

YES @BoredFrank: I AM THE ONE who wrote that Treaty and FORCED Bill to sign it! All so Trump could rise to power some 17 years later, eh? Holy fuck man, do you literally not understand the English language? It CANNOT be "treason" because it is covered by a Treaty, ok? Get it yet? It is not 'against the law' if the law says we SHOULD do something, yes? And that is what this is about. >>> Aside from the fact that the MSM LIED about what Trump said, aside from that, it's still not treason, plain and simple. You are a true idiot if you think understanding simple, fundamental aspects of Law = supporting Nazism... fuck.

I was irritated with this but then I thought about it from a neo-liberal standpoint. From 90s Clinton to Trump today, I am pretty much ambivalent about it. I'm OK with outside forces worrying inside dbags sucking the neo-liberalism D. We need one wild card to keep the check and balance gamut going.

But it was only hyperbole...no wait, it was sarcasm...it was a joke...wait, he thinks he's asking for her yoga schedule, not top secret information to be made public. Wow those goal posts have moved quite a bit.

And now Trump is asking Russia to uphold a treaty by releasing information obtained by illegal means? Yeah, sure. :P

That was fast! LOLZ! The video is VERY short & to the point: there is a freaking TREATY calling for Russia to do exactly what Trump said: help to FIND (not hack) the 30,000 deleted e-mails. Since over 800 were actually work-related (says the FBI who recovered them from the wiped servers) anyone holding them now would also be committing a crime (unless they turned them over as soon as they found them, I guess). So once again: the MSM lied to the American public about something very important, and easily researched. But they chose to not investigate, but to simply repeat the Clinton Campaign lies... again and again this happens. :-/

This whole issue is just so ridiculous. Even though he didn't smile or laugh while he was saying it, it was clearly a joke. I thought it was pretty funny, too. Democrats, get the fuck over it! Learn to say F.U. and get on with the job at hand. Don't blame the GOP for being a bunch of petty little shits and then act exactly the same way.

Yes, Trump was joking in all likelihood. Especially the part about the MSM praising Russia for exposing more of Hillary's crimes, lolz! A real knee-slapper! I doubt he even knew about this specific treaty, but there it is! Not "treason" but protocol!! >>> In all likelihood? Russia, China and various others already have some or all of the documents which Hillary illegally had on her illegal servers. Either while she was SoS or while the servers were (illegally) in her basement still connected to the internet...
